The Inhabitant’s – Alex Shaw

There is more happening within a single micro climate than an individual would ever be able to physically see, every single day beautiful and interesting things will happen within the human and natural world yet the mentality of modern humanity has rendered many people unable to see these things happening directly in front of them as they are too rushed and preoccupied to stand and enjoy the moment.

These wire figures (The Inhabitant’s) are an embodiment of this idea, they sit and watch the world go by, out of our sights and out of our minds. They in a sense for me represent all the things that we miss that probably happens out of the corner of our eyes, perhaps if an individual spots one they will try and detect more, hopefully stumbling across something randomly beautiful in the process.
