Ladder of Life – Alex Shaw

The human race attempts to climb to the top of the world they can see, the mass of bodies show no consideration to the others below them, each unfortunate soul just another step in the ladder of life. as they climb further to the top there are less to undermine and clamber over until one day they find that they have reached the light, that highest point from which they can see the struggle and pain below, from that point there is no where left to climb, mankind can only fall.
